Iron Infusions & Vitamin D Injections

HMC can provide iron infusions on site for appropriate patients. Your GP will determine if this treatment is required and will take you through what to expect. Our skilled nurses will set you up in our treatment room and administer the infusion after the doctor inserts the IV. You should generally allow 45mins – 1 hr for this procedure.

Vitamin D helps prevent brittle, weak bones and lowers the risk of osteoporosis that can occur as a result because it helps the body absorb bone-building calcium. HMC can provide Vitamin D injections. Your GP will determine if this treatment is right for you.
